Frequently Asked Questions
What types of calendars can I create?
Shutterfly offers a variety of personalized calendar products, including wall calendars, desk calendars, and easel calendars. You can also create monthly planners, calendar magnets, calendar mouse pads, and calendar hanging canvas prints customized with your favorite photos and special dates.
Can a personalized calendar start on any month?
Yes. Shutterfly calendars can start on any month and still include a full 12 months. For example, if you choose July as your start month, your calendar will run from July through June. This makes personalized calendars a great option for birthdays, anniversaries, school years, new jobs, and other occasions that don't follow the traditional January-to-December calendar year.
How do I create a personalized calendar?
Creating a personalized calendar is easy. Choose a calendar style and size, upload your photos, select a design, and customize each month with your favorite images, text, and special dates. Once your design is complete, review your calendar and place your order.
What sizes and format options are available for custom photo calendars?
Shutterfly offers multiple calendar sizes, including wall calendars (8x11, 12x12, 11x14, and 11x17 inches), desk calendars (5x11 inches), and easel calendars (5x7 inches). Other calendar products include monthly planners (8x5 inches), hanging canvas calendars (11x14 and 16x20 inches), calendar mouse pads (7.75x9 inches), and calendar magnets (3x5 and 4x5.5 inches).
Can birthdays, anniversaries, and special dates be added to a calendar?
Yes. Shutterfly wall calendars allow you to add birthdays, anniversaries, holidays, and other important dates directly to your calendar. Many calendar products can also be personalized with your own photos, text, and captions to highlight meaningful memories throughout the year.
What is the difference between wall, desk, and easel calendars?
Wall calendars are designed to hang on a wall and provide larger photo displays. Desk calendars are compact and designed to sit on a desk or workspace. Easel calendars feature a built-in stand, making them easy to display on tables, shelves, and countertops.
Can multiple copies of a calendar be ordered?
Yes. You can order multiple copies of the same calendar design, making personalized calendars a popular choice for family gifts, holiday gifts, team gifts, and keepsakes. Shutterfly also offers bulk calendar discounts on orders of 15 or more calendars. Each calendar is printed using the same customized design.
What customization features are available for adding photos, stickers, and events to specific dates on the calendar?
Shutterfly wall calendars include a variety of personalization options to make each month uniquely yours. You can add photos throughout the calendar, including on individual date squares, customize layouts, and add text such as names, captions, or special reminders. The calendar editor also lets you add stickers, embellishments, and decorative elements to personalize your design. For important occasions, you can add birthdays, anniversaries, holidays, and other events directly to calendar dates, then save those events for future calendar projects. Built-in tools also help ensure your calendar looks its best by flagging empty photo spots and low-resolution images before you order.
